Scholarships & Tuition Assistance

CCCS families represent a diverse socio-economic community and we want to continue supporting this environment. In addition to the scholarships listed below, CCCS does offer some tuition assistance based on need.

Dean's Merit Scholarship

Cougar Merit Scholarship

Alumni Scholarship

Contra Costa Christian Schools offers a $500 scholarship for alumni parents who wish to enroll their children in any of the CCCS programs. In looking back over CCCS’s rich heritage, we want the children of our alumni to have the same opportunity to get as excellent a foundation in Christian education as their parents. This scholarship offer is limited to one child per family and applies to families where at least one parent graduated from high school at CCCS. This scholarship is for full-time school age students and preschool students as described below. Qualified families can receive this $500 each year they are enrolled. Preschool families can qualify for this scholarship by enrolling in a 5 day a week program for the school day. If families choose an equivalent program in cost/hours, they can receive the full scholarship amount. If families choose a lesser option of 2 or 3 days/week, they will receive a prorated discount of the $500 scholarship as determined by CCCS. This scholarship cannot be applied in addition to other special offers unless approved by CCCS. Sibling discounts are not considered special offers and can be received in addition to this scholarship. CCCS retains sole right to revoke or disqualify any family at its discretion.

Tuition Assistance

We typically assign tuition assistance in the spring based on the applications received. If you have a true financial need, please apply online here or contact the admissions office to apply. However, you should complete your enrollment application first.  Below are some other resources for tuition assistance.

The BASIC Fund
The BASIC Fund (Bay Area Scholarships for Inner-City Children) is a privately funded program whose mission is to broaden the educational opportunities for inner-city children by helping low-income families afford the cost of tuition at private schools in the Bay Area.

The Independent Scholarship Fund
The Independent Scholarship Fund (ISF) is a privately funded scholarship program of The Independent Institute that provides tuition assistance to low- to moderate-income families in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. The mission of ISF is to help families achieve freedom of choice in the education of their children.

SallieMae K-12 Family Education Loan
Competitive interest rates, flexible repayment options, tax deductibility, and other borrower benefits make Sallie Mae's private education loans one of the most financially sound ways for students to finance their educations.

FinAid
Several lenders make loans available to parents to help them finance the cost of a private school education (K-12) for their children. All require US citizenship.
